Weddings
State Marriage.
Christian Service.
Full Freedom.
The Register General has designated the Missionary Institute of St Patrick to conduct marriages , and has nominated Rev Dr James Kinane as a soleminizer to perform legal marriages on behalf of the State.
Ceremonies can take place at any public location, that has a legal address and public liability insurance.
They are performed in a religious setting within the Republic of Ireland at a venue of your choice.

The Religious Service
Within the open and warm tradition of the Celtic Christian community, we help you create the religious service that truly reflects your lives.
-
Place your expressions of love for each other and for the people who’ve walked life with you at the centre of your service.
-
Celebrate your story, your values, and the beauty of the natural world that surrounds your day.
-
Bring your joy to life through music, poetry, readings, and art. You shape your service the way you want it.

The State Marriage
Your state marriage is prepared with us in advance. We'll let you know all documents and formalities that are to be in place before your wedding day.
Then on your day, you bring and conclude all required state documentation and we guide you on how you lodge these completed documents with the Register General.

Where we can Officiate
Our wedding ceremonies can be:
-
An indoor or outdoor ceremony
-
Anywhere in the Republic of Ireland including a traditional church
-
Any day of the week including weekends
-
Personalised to create a ceremony that suits you

How is the wedding ceremony prepared?
Most planning is done in advance via email or phone/Zoom. On the day, everything will be set up an hour before the ceremony.
To avail of this service on your wedding day you must
-
give at least 3 months notice to the Registar in the HSE, earlier if possible to avoid any last minute delay.
-
The Registrar will ask both of you to attend for appointment where they require certain documentation (check in advance).
-
When the Registrar is satisfied they will issue you a marriage registration form.
-
On the day of the wedding, bring that marriage registration form to the venue. The form will then be signed by the couple, the two witnesses and the registered soleminizer.
-
Following the wedding, return the marriage registration form to the registrar office. The registrar will then issue you a marriage certificate
